Last is the New First

In our culture, everybody wants to be somebody.  Ask an elementary student what she wants to do when she grows up and she’s just as likely to say “influencer” or “Youtube,” as she is to say “nurse.”  We think greatness means being out front, being seen, and being recognized.  But Jesus tells us that in his kingdom, the path to greatness is behind-the-scenes and is not about gaining recognition for ourselves.  What’s your standard for “greatness?”  And how do you live a life that really makes a difference?
