The Hard Road of Repentance

Sep 7, 2025    Rev. Brian Litch

This week, we travel the road of repentance, a central theme preached by John the Baptist, Jesus, Peter and used by Paul in Acts 26. Repentance is a lifelong discipline—turning from sin to God. Theologian Thomas Watson reminds us, "It is better to go with difficulty to heaven, than with ease to hell." This Sunday, we’ll talk about why we should traverse the hard but worthy road of repentance. In our modern world, where spiritual complacency tempts us, this practice keeps us anchored in grace. It’s perhaps the greatest work God does in us! Let’s commit to daily repentance and trust God to transform us for His glory!
